Product Engineer - Software Engineer (Ruby/Rails/AI Integrator)

🛠️ What you’ll do

• Collaborate directly with our CTO and technical CEO.
• Participate in the next big wave of protocol innovation by building the security and tooling for enterprise AI
• Develop an AI API Gateway, providing a unified interface for enterprises managing AI agents and tools.
• Create security and cost tooling to enhance visibility and protection within our AI Gateway platform.
• Design intuitive user interfaces that make interacting with AI agents and workflows seamless and enjoyable.
• Share responsibility for the product quality and reliability that Costa delivers to its customers

🔑 Must-have experience

• Develop Ruby on Rails applications by writing clean, maintainable code:
• Craft well-structured Models using Rails Concerns.
• Build slim Controllers using Service Objects.
• Implement dynamic frontend interfaces with Turbo and Stimulus.
• Collaborate closely on feature development and architectural improvements.
• Continuously grow your engineering skills, guided by object-oriented design best practices (e.g., Sandi Metz’s Practical Object-Oriented Design).
• Design polished, user-friendly interfaces using Tailwind CSS, Stimulus and Turbo bringing thoughtful design intuition to your frontend work.

✨ Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker for containerized application development.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (such as EKS or k3s) for deploying scalable applications.
• Experience writing robust, automated test suites for Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
